The NSCDA is a professionally run training program that will cover essential ball mastery techniques while using game-based activities to further develop players’ most important skill set, decision making! Supplemental training is vital to the development of competitive players and the professional coaching staff of the New England Revolution Academy will deliver instruction and guidance in a positive, competitive, FUN and safe environment.
This unique 6-week program will be offered to players in grades 1–6 this fall 2021 season. These sessions act as an additional training component to our regularly scheduled team practices. Intended for our more committed, focused, and passionate players this unique experience is a great opportunity for our aspiring players who want further development of their emerging skills, creativity and decision making with professional coaches right in Needham!
Player groups will be gender specific and formed by grade. The NSCDA aims to follow age and developmentally appropriate training guidelines aligned with US Soccer and the Revolution Academy regarding player: coach ratio to help make for the best learning environments possible. As a result, please understand that space will be limited and groups will only be formed based on registration and coach availability.
All Sessions Will Take Place at Walker Gordon Field in Needham! The program begins the week of 9/20 and runs through the week of 10/25 with November 1st – 5th planned for any make-ups.
- 2nd Grade Girls – Monday 3:45-4:45pm (9/20, 9/27, 10/4, 10/18, 10/25 & 11/1)
- 2nd Grade Boys – Monday 4:45-5:45pm (9/20, 9/27, 10/4, 10/18, 10/25 & 11/1)
- 1st Grade Boys – Tuesday 3:45-4:45pm (9/21, 9/28, 10/5, 10/12, 10/19 & 10/26)
- 1st Grade Girls – Tuesday 4:45-5:45pm (9/21, 9/28, 10/5, 10/12, 10/19 & 10/26)
- 5&6th Grade Boys – Wednesday 4:45-5:45pm (9/22, 9/29, 10/6, 10/13, 10/20 & 10/27)
- Due to low registration number our Boys & Girls 5/6th Grade will run together on Wednesdays!
- 5&6th Grade Girls – Wednesday 4:45-5:45pm (9/22, 9/29, 10/6, 10/13, 10/20 & 10/27)
- 3&4th Grade Girls – Thursday 3:45-4:45pm (9/23, 9/30, 10/7, 10/14, 10/21 & 10/28)
- 3&4th Grade Boys – Thursday 4:45-5:45pm (9/23, 9/30, 10/7, 10/14, 10/21 & 10/28)
Places will be limited so early registration is recommended, some players may be waitlisted, and we will attempt to open up more spots based on our coaching staff availability.
