NSCCL 300 Jamboree

Saturday October 26th, Defazio Park Turf

In honor of the Town of Needham’s Tercentennial Celebration during 2011, the Needham Soccer Club established the NSCCL 300 Jamboree. Games are played on the turf at Defazio throughout the afternoon and into the evening under the lights.  This has since become a yearly fall tradition. Read below for full details for players, coaches and parents.

All NSCCL 3rd/4th and 5th/6th Grade Teams Will Participate In The Jamboree

When: Saturday October 26th 2024

Where: Defazio Park – Brock and Founders Field – Field Diagram Link Below

Times: Games Start at 12.45pm and End at 7.55pm

Approximate Times By Age/Gender (specific game times vary by team)

3rd/4th Grade Boys: 2.30-5.35pm

3rd/4th Grade Girls: 12.45-2.40pm

5th/6th Grade (both genders): 5.00-7.55pm

Team schedules for the NSCCL 300 Jamboree will also be available on your team calendar in the GotSport mobile app once released

Games must start on time, and clocks will be running in order to get all games in. Coaches/players should be sure to arrive before kick off times and be ready to take the field on time.

Times listed on the schedule are Kick Off times.

REMEMBER – Please make sure to exit the field when the final whistle blows. Coaches Talk to your team off the field so the next game can begin on time.

3rd/4th Grade (7v7) Format

  • Boys Grade 3/4 games will start at 2:30 PM on Brock Field and Founders Field (synthetic turf fields) and end by 5:35 PM.
  • Girls Grade 3/4 games will start at 12:45 PM on Brock Field and Founders Field (synthetic turf fields) and end by 2:40 PM.
  • Each Team will have two 30-minute games.
  • There are no half times.
  • Games Start immediately as schedule – No Warm-ups (there IS space to warm-up in between fields).
  • Teams are to be in full uniform.
  • Normal game substitutions
  • Each game will have a referee.
  • All Normal NSCCL 7v7 rules apply.

5th/6th Grade (9v9) Format

  • Boys Grade 5/6 games will start at 5:00 PM and will play on the 2 fields on Brock Field (synthetic turf field) and end at 7:50 PM.
  • Girls Grade 5/6 games will start at 5:50 PM and will play on the 2 fields on Founders Field (synthetic turf field) and end at 7:30 PM.
  • Each Team will have two 30-minute games.
  • There are no half times.
  • Games Start immediately as schedule – No Warm-ups (there IS space to warm-up in between fields).
  • Teams are to be in full uniform.
  • Normal game substitutions
  • Each game will have a referee.
  • All Normal NSCCL 9v9 rules apply.
