Professional Development Games (“PDG”)

NSC is excited to announce the return of our Professional Development Games (PDG) for Spring 2026! Our reimagined supplemental development experience that blends high-level training, competitive gameplay, and coach development into one fully integrated program is set to continue during the spring. Led by our Director of Coaching, Matt Murray and Assistant DOC & Revolution Academy Technical Coordinator Edgar Lopez, the PDG is not just an extra practice, but a structured, team-like learning environment designed to help players:
Unlike traditional clinics, PDG uses principles of play and identifies game scenarios with tiered groupings that provide appropriate challenge and intentional development focus.

PDG also includes a unique educational opportunity for Parent Volunteer Coaches. Just like in our PDP Travel Teams, volunteer coaches will have the chance to work side-by-side with NSC and Revolution Academy staff as “assistant coaches”. Just as our travel PDP teams do, volunteer coaches are integral to the experience — working with staff coaches, contributing to session delivery, and gaining concrete tools they can bring back to their own teams within all of our core team programs!

BAYS Invitational Group – Must be on a current BAYS Travel Team OR have been invited by NSC’s professional coaching staff via email to register for this group!
OPEN Group – Intended for players new to soccer or currently on one of our intown teams! (NSCCL 3-6th & NSCJA 1st & 2nd)
BAYS Invitational Tier Registration: Players On 3rd-6th Grade Travel Teams OR Previously Invited to a BAYS Invitational program within the past year (Fall PDG, Winter Futsal).
All other 1st-6th Graders: should register via the “Open” Tier registration link.
NSC uses a tiered approach to player development to create more meaningful, personalized opportunities for growth, evaluation, and recognition across all levels of the club throughout the year.
This structure allows our professional coaching staff to identify and invite players from open sessions and NSCCL teams into more competitive environments — ensuring players are challenged and supported based on their commitment, dedication, and potential, not simply their current team placement.
The tiered model:
Ultimately, this approach creates a clear development pathway where motivated players can grow alongside like-minded peers in increasingly challenging environments — reinforcing NSC’s commitment to a holistic, long-term player development experience for every family in our community.
