Fall / Spring Program Structure

1st / 2nd Grade
NSCJA

NSC Junior Academy

NSCJA is our “In-Town” Program For Players of All Abilities


6-8 Weeks (Fall & Spring)


1st Grade
Saturday Game Only

2nd Grade
1 Weeknight Practice*
Saturday Game

*Teams receive rotational assistance by the professional coaching staff of the New England Revolution Academy during team practices!


1st Grade Game Day Format
30 min. warm up activities lead by pro coaches from New England Revolution Academy, followed by game of 2 x 20 min. halves.


2nd Grade Game Day Format
30 min. warm up followed by game of 2 x 20 min. halves.

All Games Are 4v4, No Goalies. Players use a size 3 ball.


Events
Fall – “Soccerween” Game Day
Spring – 2nd Grade 7v7 Jamboree


Uniform
Players receive a reversible NSCJA jersey (1 per Fall-Spring year)

NSCCL is our “In-Town” Program For Players of All Abilities


8-10 Weeks (Fall & Spring)


1 Weeknight Practice

Each Week*

Weeknight NSCCL Clinics with Pro Coaches From New England Revolution Academy (4x season) supplement team practices with a professionally structured curriculum of activities and learning opportunities for both players & coaches!

*On a week where boys teams have a Weeknight Clinic, teams are given the option to practice on Saturday Morning with their games scheduled for Sunday, while the girls teams will play their games on Saturday. Days then switch on a girls clinic week.


4 Divisions
3rd/4th Grade Boys – Play 7v7
3rd/4th Grade Girls – Play 7v7
5th/6th Grade Boys – Play 9v9
5th/6th Grade Girls – Play 9v9


Events
Fall – NSCCL 300 Jamboree
Spring – End of Season Playoffs


Uniform
Players receive a full Nike uniform (shirt/shorts/socks) (1 per Fall-Spring year)

10 Weeks (Fall & Spring)


3rd-6th Grade
Players Must Be Selected To
Teams (3rd Grade is Spring Only

7th/8th Grade
All 7th/8th Grade Players Are Placed on BAYS Travel Teams of Various Levels


2 Practices Each Week
Saturday Games (5 Home, 5 Away)

*Every 3rd Grader plays NSCCL in the Fall & if interested can tryout at the end of the Fall for 1 select team to play in BAYS in the Spring.

BAYS Travel

BAYS Travel

Travel Program (Boston Area Youth Soccer League) for High School Age Players


7 Weeks (Spring Only)

Sunday Games (mix of home/away games)


Teams are formed based on registration by grade and/or level.


Teams generally play 11v11, but BAYS also offer a 7v7 recreational Division


Typically 1 practice per week, optional for each team based on players/coach


Uniform
Players receive a full Nike uniform (shirt/shorts/socks)



TOPSoccer
1st – 12th Grade

TOPSoccer

Clinic style program for players with physical and/or mental disabilities to learn and play soccer.


5 Week Program (Fall & Spring)

Sessions typically held Sunday afternoons (around 4pm)


Players matched with “buddies” (usually high school aged) to engage, support and work with the athletes during sessions.

New England Revolution Academy

Across the club, NSC players, coaches and families feel the benefit of our partnership with the New England Revolution Academy, including age appropriate curriculum, on field assistance for volunteer coaches and a full time Director of Coaching.
