New Player & Coach Development Program for Fall 2025

Needham Soccer Club is excited to launch our new Professional Development Games (PDG) program — a dynamic, team-like, full game-based supplemental training program replacing our traditional “clinics” and designed to better serve the development of both our players and coaches!

Led by NSC’s full-time coaching staff — Director of Coaching Matt Murray and ADOC Edgar Lopez — and featuring hand-picked professional coaches from the New England Revolution Academy, PDG offers a unique, elevated soccer experience.

Each session combines a structured warm-up with real gameplay in a training model that mirrors our Professional Development Program travel team philosophy. Whether you’re a current travel team player looking for more development time with our PDP coaches, a current NSCCL or NSCJA player looking to better develop and prepare for next year, want to represent Needham in Tournament competition or simply new to the game and looking for a safe and fun place to compete – THIS is the program for you!

This isn’t just for players — Volunteer Coaches are invited to step on the field and learn alongside NSC’s professional coaching staff, just as we do in our PDP teams! New to coaching or looking to level up, this is your chance to develop your skills and learn to lead your fall teams the NSC way— and even coach one of our PDG Tournament Teams!

📚 For Coaches – Learn from the best, gain valuable experience, become a more confident leader who can deliver sessions for your team aligned to our NSC core tactical topics and approach to player learning!
