Spring Clinics

The Skills Academy is a professionally run training program within the Needham Soccer Club Development Academy that will cover essential ball mastery skills while using game-based activities to further develop players’ most important skill set, decision making! Intended for our more committed, focused, and passionate players this unique experience is a great opportunity for our aspiring soccer stars who want further development of ALL their emerging skills!

The professional coaching staff of The New England Revolution Academy will come to Needham to deliver personalized instruction and guidance in a positive, competitive, FUN and safe environment for all who participate!

The Skills Academy sessions act as an additional training component to our regularly scheduled team practices and is open to players from 1st-6th grade, running across 6 Sunday evenings throughout the season. Players are grouped by age to help make for an appropriate curriculum, enjoyable experience and opportunity to develop and compete alongside peers they may not see during their normal Spring Season!

NSC Goalkeeping School is a goalkeeping specific training option within the Needham Soccer Club Development Academy, open to dedicated goalkeepers and players with a keen interest in the position. Players enrolling in the Goalkeeping School option will work with a professional Goalkeeping Coach from The New England Revolution Academy on a range of topics and skills specific to the “number 1” position.

No previous Goal Keeping experience necessary! The professional coaching staff of the Revolution Academy have years of experience working with players of all ages and ability levels and receive a curriculum developed with progressions to be adaptable to the level of the individual players. Whether you have years of experience, a few games or no experience at all our GK School will help you better understand the importance of mastering the basics behind protecting the goal!
