The best weekend of soccer for our NSCCL program was met with the best weather of the Fall making for an absolutely beautiful day and night for the Jamboree this past Saturday. The sun was shinning and so were all the players as the 3rd and 4th graders took to DeFazio Park for the 1pm kickoff that launched one of our best Jamboree’s to date.
The boy’s started things off to give the girls a break following their Saturday morning skills clinic with the Revolution Academy. Scores were close and the games were intense as parents, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, grandparents and friends all came out to support their players and teams. The lights came on as the 3rd and 4th grade girls wrapped up their final games and lit up both the fields and players as you could see the excitement on all the faces and added a little something extra to the experience for everyone involved.
When asked about his first experience with the NSCCL Jamboree, Director of Coaching Matt Murray, was quoted saying “I think this is a tremendous experience and environment for all of these kids! It really say’s something about the Club that they are, not only able to provide such a legitimate in-town league, but are committed to giving all of these kids such a cool experience. It is really above and beyond anything I have seen anywhere else and brings together the entire NSC community to celebrate the game and kids together.”
