Needham Soccer Club is proud to announce that Josh Batra has been named the “2018 Massachusetts Youth Soccer TOPSoccer Buddy of the year”!
Josh has been given this tremendous award, in recognition of the contributions he has made to the families of Needham Soccer Club and specifically TOPSoccer Needham! According to the MYSA website “The TOPSoccer Buddy of the Year Award is given to an individual for his or her extraordinary accomplishments as a TOPSoccer Buddy and who has demonstrated patience, understanding, dependability, compassion and who has proven to be an invaluable volunteer to the US Youth Soccer TOPSoccer Program by filling many roles including coach, role model, cheerleader and by assisting with administrative responsibilities.”
Needham Soccer Club can not even begin to thank Josh and all of our buddies, coaches and volunteers enough for committing so much of their free time to TOPSoccer over the years! It is because of people like Josh and the rest of the group, that TOPSoccer Needham has been so successful. And while this is a well deserved individual award, we believe Josh would agree when we say it is also a reflection on the program and group as a whole.

WELL DONE JOSH!! Congratulations! And Thank You again for being such an integral part of our team and for helping make TOPSoccer Needham and Needham Soccer Club a place for everyone to feel welcomed, comfortable and to have fun with each other and the beautiful game!
Josh will be recognized by our State Association as we formally honor his accomplishments at the Mass Youth Soccer Appreciation Night to be held on Friday, January 25th, 2019 at the Boston Marriot , One Burlington Mall Road, Burlington, MA.
