About Matt Murray
Born and raised in Canton Mass, Matt grew up playing soccer all over the New England. As a youth player, he played for multiple clubs and later attended Canton High School where we was a 4-year varsity starter, 2-time captain and winner of numerous league and state honors. After high school, Matt attended Keene State College and played for the Owls.
Coach Matt began his coaching career in Canton as an assistant in 2014 for the CHS boys varsity soccer team. He then joined the Boston Rams FC as the boys U17 head coach. Shortly thereafter, the Revolution Academy hired Matt to coach in their Development Program. Matt has also worked as an assistant head coach and head of recruiting for men’s soccer at Wentworth Institute of Technology.
