Updated Monday April 6th 2020

To All NSC families,

Our governing body Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association has extended the suspension of all youth soccer activities in its sanctioned leagues through May 3, 2020 due to the evolving COVID-19 situation. As a member organizations this impacts our club directly, and includes, but is not limited to: all games, practices, clinics, training, tournaments, in-person meetings, and coaching/referee education courses.

We continue to plan and prepare to have a Spring 2020 season, and will do so once permitted by Mass Youth Soccer and in coordination with town officials. Our program has had early season delays in the past due to weather and field conditions and we hope this situation ends up similar from a soccer perspective. Having our kids out on the field playing soccer is a sign of normalcy for many of us and we hope to be able to return to that soon.

All NSC sanctioned activities, including any practices, games, clinics, preseason meetings and events are suspended until May 3rd. Below you can find a summary and plans for previously scheduled events/activities impacted by the suspension.

Below you can find a Summary of some of the events and programs this has impacted so far.

We ask that everyone continues to stay patient and alert to ALL club communications in the days and weeks ahead as we will continue to communicate updates and plans at the appropriate times.

We greatly appreciate everyone’s understanding as we work to try to navigate this challenging and fluid situation. Please continue to follow recommendations of medical professionals, be smart, be safe, and take care.

Sincerely,
Needham Soccer Club
