The Town of Needham grants permits to all youth sports in the town in late March. They generally open the fields on April 1st for spring sports but weather, snow cover and condition of the fields affects that.

SPRING 2013

• BAYS practices begin on/around April 1st with the first games on Saturday, April 6th for BAYS teams U9 to U14 and continue for 10 weeks with no games over Memorial Day weekend.
• BAYS U15 to U19 teams play on Sundays beginning on Sunday, April 21st and continue for 7 consecutive Sundays
• NSCCL teams begin practicing during the week of April 8th with games on the weekend of April 13-14; there is one weekday practice per week; one weekend game and clinics offered during Saturday mornings with professional trainers.  Season culminates with a tournnament over two middle weeks in June.
• NSCJA teams begin practicing during the week of April 8th with games on the weekend of April 13-14.  There is one weekday practice and one weekend game 

Please remember all practice and game schedule changes must be approved by the field scheduler Sabatino Sodano at fieldscheduler@needhamsoccer.com 

If Lightning occurs, clear ALL fields IMMEDIATELY; do NOT stand under trees or light poles. 

An opening in the schedule does not necessarily mean that the field is open.
