The NSC Junior Academy (NSCJA) is an In-town 4v4 recreational program focused on developing soccer skills, teamwork and fun.

- Four divisions of single gender teams
- 1st Grade Girls (GU7)
- 2nd Grade Girls (GU8)
- 1st Grade Boys (BU7)
- 2nd Grade Boys (BU8)
- Note: Girls may request to play on a boys team during registration
- Six to eight week season
- One game per weekend scheduled on Saturday or on Sunday afternoon
- One hour in duration broken into a 20 minute practice followed by a 40 minute game
- One weekday practice per week - 1 hour
- Due to holidays there may only be 7 games per season
- Each team will be provided with 1 pop-up goal and 2 balls
- New coaches will also receive cones and a ball bag
All coaches and assistants must be registered ONLINE with Needham Soccer Club and complete a CORI background check through Mass Youth Soccer (MYSA)
Registration via online system ONLY – There are two separate registration periods. For Fall Soccer, registration opens in May; deadline is beginning of June after that a $100 late fee is assessed and no guarantee of a spot in the program. For Spring Soccer Season, registration opens in October and deadline is November. Registrations after that will be assessed a $100 late fee.
Team Placement Requests: Teams are created with players from different school districts. We will try to place players with some schoolmates. Special requests cannot be made by phone or email. During the online registration process you are asked to enter special requests. We cannot guarantee those requests, but we try to accommodate. Head and assistant coaches can make a request to be paired together. We do not accept requests for a specific practice night.
Late registrations are very time consuming and disruptive to teams and coaches. Please register on time in order to be assured a place on a team. A player must be registered in order to be placed on a team. We do accept a small waitlist in each age group & gender. Any waitlisted players will NOT be placed unless/until a spot opens up. The Club Administrator will contact you by email at that time and charge your credit card the season's fees and order a uniform. Once the season has been underway for at least two weeks, the waitlist will be dissolved.
