NSC has only online registration. We encourage all players to register before the deadline. However, we will accept late registrations with a late fee added. When you register, you are only committing to ONE season of soccer. You MUST register again this fall if you want your child to participate in spring soccer.
For the U9 age group (third graders) there is NO travel team - only intramurals/non-travel. Schedules are NOT available until late August/early September. The schedule will consist of one practice and one game per week as well as skills clinics throughout the season. There is NO set time or days of the week for this. All 3rd graders are placed on teams with 4th graders and the league is called U10 NSCCL. This means all players are Under 10 years old and it is the Needham Soccer Club Champions League (intramural non-travel league).
There is no non-travel league for 7th & 8th graders. All U14 teams travel in the BAYS League. U14 teams consist of players generally in 7th and 8th grade and are U13 and U14 mixed teams. There is no U13 league at all.
If your child is U9-U18 (born between 8/1/90-7/31/2000) and /or is in grade 3 through grade 12, he or she is eligible to play for the Needham Soccer Club. If you have recently moved to Needham and have missed the registration dates, please contact us needhamsoccer@yahoo.com.
If your child was born after July 31st but would like to play up with their grade, you will need to fill out an age waiver form and should contact the club for instructions on how to register.
If your child is too young to play in Needham Soccer Club, please contact St. Bart's Soccer. They run a soccer program for 1st and 2nd graders. You can reach them at 781.444.6559 or write to PO Box 700, Needham Heights, MA 02494. Also, the Needham YMCA has a youth soccer program for 4, 5 & 6 year olds.
