While the NSC focuses on player development and enjoyment of the game for players at all levels, as the season comes to a close, its always a bonus to be able to report on some success stories across the various divisions in which our travel teams compete, and there are plenty of those…

 

Congratulations to the following teams all finishing in 1st place in their division:

BU9 Rhinos  – coached by Rob O’Brien, enjoyed a ‘perfect season’ in their first as a travel team, winning 10 out of 10 to clinch top spot in 3rd Grade Division 2C.

BU10 Arsenal – coached by Dan Brownridge – Division 2E

BU11 Storm (Ken Keys) – Division 1A1

BU14 Storm (pictured below – coached by Mark Holland)

BU16 Thunder (Lee Popper) – Division 1A

GU9 Rhinos (Andy Apstein) – 1st place in Division 2B already clinched, but seeking a 10-0-0 perfect season with their final make up game this weekend!

GU11 Jr. Rockets (Jim Bonasia) – Division 2D

GU12 United (Pictured Above – Jimmy McShane) – Division 1A

GU18 United (Jeremiah White/Ken Horton) – Division 3A1

Special mentions to the following teams who all had strong seasons finishing up in the runners-up spots:

BU10 Bulldogs (Clayton Schuller) – Division 2A

BU14 Rockets (Sabatino Sodano) – Division 1A1, narrowly beaten out 4-3 in their final game of the season when a win would have taken them into MTOC qualification!

BU14 Spurs (Charlie Hurwitch) – Division 2F

GU10 Strikers (Deana Moreschi) – Division 1A1
